Discription:

Polyvinyl Alcohol, alias PVA, is a water-soluble organic compound, generally white or cream-colored solid. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide, insoluble in gasoline, kerosene, petroleum ether, vegetable oil, benzene, toluene, dichloroethane, ethylene glycol, carbon tetrachloride, acetone, ethyl acetate, methanol, etc. various organic solvents. Secondly, polyvinyl alcohol is widely used. Usage:

Polyvinyl Alcohol 1788 has good chemical stability, good insulation and film-forming properties. With the typical chemical properties of polyols, it can carry out reactions such as esterification, etherification and acetalization. In addition, it also has the following performance:
(1) Water-soluble
Storage stability of polyvinyl alcohol 1788 aqueous solution The polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution has little chemical change when stored for a long time. At room temperature, the viscosity will gradually increase with the extension of the standing time; it will turn into a gel at low temperature, and it will turn into a solution after heating and stirring. If it is placed for a long time, rust inhibitor, preservative, anti-gelling agent and viscosity stabilizer can be added to the solution. However, attention should be paid to the influence of additives on product quality and performance during use.
(2) Film-forming properties
PVA1788 is easy to form film, and its film has excellent mechanical properties. The tensile strength of the film increases with the increase of polymerization degree and alcoholysis degree.
(3) Adhesion
The aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol 1788 has good bonding force with hydrophilic cellulose, and the bonding strength increases with the increase of alcoholysis degree and polymerization degree.
(4) Chemical properties of the interface
Polyvinyl alcohol 088-20 (1788) is surface active and reduces the surface tension of water.
(5) Solvent resistance
Polyvinyl Alcohol 088-20 (1788) can be dissolved in polar solution containing hydroxyl group, but it is easy to transform into gel, generally insoluble in non-polar organic solution, and insoluble in inorganic ACID , water is a good solvent.
(6) Thermal stability
